Dear Annette, It was with deep sorrow that I came know about the passing away Professor Etienne. I cannot fully empathize with your situation but I feel extremely sad at the departure of Professor Etienne. But kindly know that you are in our thoughts and prayers May God give you the strength and patience to face this situation. My Professor was truly an honest and kind man. I can never forget the day I went to HEI and I saw a note from him asking me to call him. I can never forget the first dinner party you and him had arranged to welcome me in Geneva. I will always remember you and him taking me to your Castle in Neuchâtel for weekend and the many evenings we spent with both you and him. He made big contributions in my life by giving me moral support and guidance. I always felt blessed in his company. Whenever I spent some time with him I felt wiser and more mature. One of the important things I thank God for, is the gift of friendship with him and you. Even if he left us, his friendship stays with us and it will stay with us forever.
