We remember Luc as a respectful son, a proud father, a loving husband, a caring brother, and a generous friend. Some of us knew Luc as a patriot who loved his country and was an active advocate for the freedom of his people. After escaping the communist persecution on a boat he achieved what most could only dream of. He overcame the many obstacles that he encountered in his life and his journey gave him the strength to succeed. His perseverance has inspired many. He lived his life with passion and this is how he will be remembered. Brother Luc, It was around this time last year that we visited And we still remember the fun we had these days. It was too soon to realize that all we were left with Were only precious memories to remind us of YOU. The light shined through as you stepped out Then it was only darkness all around And although we felt sad we knew That it meant the end of suffering for you. God’s speed my friend and rest in peace In sunny places without worries or pain In time will meet, I am sure, to celebrate again. May God rest his soul and watch over his family. Luc will remain forever in our hearts.
