My condolence to all the family. I am a retired Caterpillar employee since 2009. Vito was a person that I admired as while he was the CEO he never played his position but was available to all of us for discussions, private of business. Through him looking after the company in a great manner we has satisfied and active lives and now in retirement we are still looked after. So sorry for your loss John Morgan

Hello Gwendoline and family , I am a CAT retire and I have been working under your husband / father. I just retired 1.5 years ago after 35 years but I always remember some highlights of my career . One was with Vito in Peoria . I was selected to present a project to the top management in Peoria of CATERPILLAR on the 7 floor ...everybody was there ...there were 10 projects ...and I was one of theme ..Vito helped me a lot since I was nervous ...we finally one the competition ...our project from Geneva ...and I remember Vito was so proud and me too ...there was a celebration in Peoria and Vito invited me on his table with all the top manager of Peoria CAT ...WAU ....what a experience ...and Vito and I had a great evening together ...and since then we always had a good chats when we saw each other in the building or on a trip ....wonderful men !!!!!!!
