Unfortunately in hospital for a couple of years myself, I only learned now of Alena's death and am terribly saddened. She was one of the most wonderful people I ever knew, intelligent, sensitive, with a zest for life and a sense of humour, gracious and warm, a fantastic friend. She will remain forever unforgettable and to many people I know. She is a real loss in my life. Bernice Shaaker Dubois
