I am the daughter of Zubeida Ahmad, a longstanding colleague of Antoinette at the ILO. My mother passed away in 2018, at almost 95 years. My mother and Antoinette remained firm friends after retirement and continued to meet in Park Budé over several years. They very much enjoyed each other’s company as they had when working together, for the greater good of women everywhere. Please accept my most sincere condolences.
