Working with Gil was such a treat. His reasoning and judgment was impressive. His patience, humility, and camaraderie made it easy to see why he was endeared by many teams from multiple countries. Deepest condolences to the family. I met Gil years ago during a VC world meeting. He asked if he could sit next to me whilst on a bus trip to a team bonding activity. Although he may seem to be a man of few words, we had a lovely chat and he left an impressionable memory for me. Thank you Gil and rest in peace.
