It was certainly unexpected and unhappy news to hear that Nabil passed away. I met him many years ago and I always appreciated his encyclopedic knowledge of the organization and its procedures, his competence and ability to follow every kind of meeting. More recently, since WTSA-2000 I worked with him in the ITU-T as Vice-Chairman of TSAG and it was every time fruitful for me to converse with him. Please, accept my sincerest condolences. Andrea

It was very sad news to hear of the death of Nabil, with whom I worked in the ITU as Vice-Chairmen of TSAG, and also debated with many times in other meetings. He was absolutely unique and worked tirelessly for what he believed. It was a great pleasure to know him and I will remember him as long as I live.
