Cher Hans et famille, C’est avec une très grande tristesse que nous vous adressons nos sincères condoléances. Nos pensées sont avec vous pendant cette période de deuil. J’ai revu Irène en octobre à Berne. Nous avons passé un moment délicieux ensemble au restaurant Tibits à la gare. Elle m’a parlé de sa maladie, mais surtout de vous, sa famille. Je garderai pour toujours cette image d’Irène : souriante, aimante, pleine d’enthousiasme pour le futur… ses attitudes positives nous encourageront à continuer à aimer la Vie. Dear Hans It is very sad to hear of Irene passing away. I never knew of her illness until the day we met up at Alpha Hotel, Thun for lunch this October. She has touched many a heart and will be deeply missed by all who knew her as the lovely, kind and charming person she was.
