I still even now so often think of Frank-Ol - his distinct charm and sparkling company, his gifted talent so prematurely severed. Our paths seldom crossed except for the occasional family (Raoul-Duval) celebration, or when he came to the Umbria Jazz Festival! My very belated sympathy - until this morning it had never even occurred to me to 'search' for him on the web! I'm certain his memory lives on in you all.

Terribly saddened at the news. I had the pleasure of meeting him through my employment at the Gibraltar FSC, and he was a true gentleman. Always had a ready smile and a kind word. My deepest sympathy to all the family and friends. A truly wonderful man, full of the joys of life.

Frank-Olivier Hay était un Grand Homme, plein de vie, de joie, fort et présent.... Sa disparition laisse un vide dont personne n'aura le charisme de relever.... Frank-Ol, tu nous manqueras.... Tu étais une leçon de vie à toi tout seul.....
