Dear Marika, and Bryon. As usual we only get in touch once a year when your newsletter arrives. At first I did not realise that it also contained the announcement of the early departure of Jo. I meet you Brian with Jo so many years ago, I was honoured to join you and a horde of children when you both used to organise weekend meetings in Lausanne of most of the children that had been given a better life through MIBLOU. I also remember the arrival of little Josef, you Jo had gone to India on one of your usual visits and told me that when your eyes met Joseph's it was "love at first sight" and you simply could not leave him where he was. I used to listen to you telling me all these lovely stories of adoptive parents waiting at Geneva Airport for the plane to land carrying their children. Many years ago I visited one of your homes in Banglore and they would not let me in thinking that I was a journalist and when I pointed to the "ELEPHANT" which was at the time the emblem of MIBLOU and gave them lots of details about you and Brian would they let me in. Over the years, certainly after your departure for France taking your well deserved retirement with Brian did we lose touch, but through Marika we kept our relationship with Miblou. To you, Brian and all the family our heartfelt simpathy on the loss of a great LADY. Irene and Manu Hiralal
